Becoming involved in FALA is a great way to challenge yourself professionally, as well as contributing to your career field. FALA members have many opportunities to become involved in the association and its activities - from submitting an article to FALA On Point, to leading or serving a committee, as well as serving on the board of directors. Benefits of membership include: CLE opportunities on items of interest, reserved space in educational seminars, Job Bank Information, networking with other legal professionals, and motivational support of fellow legal assistants. The hardest part is getting starting - if you would like to learn more about FALA, start by contacting a member of the FALA Board of Directors and attend FALA’s next meeting. |

FALA offers four membership classifications: Active; Associate; Student; and Sustaining Dues are $40 a year for Active, $30 for Associate, $20 for Student, $30 for individual sustaining and $100 for institutional sustaining. The FALA Membership Application must accompany membership fees each year. FALA membership meetings are held the third Friday of every month.
